A Change for the Better

I have a lot of faith in our new President. Of course, the economy is in the gutter, the healthcare system in this country is in need of huge improvements, and I would say that Americans are feeling nervous about the future. All we can do is work hard to make things get better. One thing that I think will help with healthcare, is streamlining the way patient data is tracked. The POS system uses a barcoding system to keep track of patient information.

Sprucing Up the Yard

This weekend, I've been trying to take back control of our yard from the weeds. I just fertilized everything with stuff that should kill the weeds at the same time. My wife wants to get new cushions for the patio furniture, and we might get a few new planters to make it look better out there. The weather has been really great lately, so we might as well take advantage of it!

Real Smooth...

My wife will probably kill me for sharing this, but she dropped her new cell phone in the toilet about a month ago. It was in her pocket, and well, fell right in. Needless to say, we were able to save the SIM card and put it into one of our old phones. I would like to get her a new one, but for now this one will have to do. I've even thought about buying an unlocked phone online.

Weekend Getaway

Since starting my new job, things have been a bit stressful. I like it and everything, but stress just comes with the territory when you take on new roles. I would love to take a little trip in the coming months. I was reading about Argentina travel deals...but we'll see! I doubt that I can take any time off for a while.

Valentine's Day

This year my wife and I have agreed to not spend money on Valentine's Day. We've really been trying to cut back, so she'll understand completely. I have always been really good about ordering flowers over the years, but they are kind of a waste of money. I'll probably wait and suprise her with flowers on a day she's not expecting them. Maybe she'll get me the Patek Philippe watch I've been wanting....later on as a surprise.
